Delmarva Aviation focuses on student pilot training to obtain the Private Pilot certificate. We also provide training for the Instrument Rating, Instrument Proficiency Checks (IPC), Biennial Flight Reviews (BFR) and other Recurrency Training. Delmarva Aviation operates under the Part 61 rules of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
Delmarva Aviation has been selected to be a Cirrus Standardized Training Center (CSTC). The Cirrus Aircraft Company awards the CSTC designation to flight training centers which demonstrate superior customer service and employ experienced, professional flight instructors.
Delmarva Aviation emphasizes a safe and fun learning environment integrated with superior customer service. To do this, we only hire Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) dedicated to the art of flight instruction. We do not hire CFIs who are using flight instruction as a stepping stone to become airline pilots. Our instructors have a combined total of over 100 years of flight instruction.
The decision to pursue a lifelong dream to become a private pilot is a major life event. The student pilot can easily be overwhelmed with the new terminology, equipment, and airport culture to which he or she is exposed.
